• Add chopped onions, minced garlic, and rosemary (if using) to the pot for extra flavor.

  • If you like a bit of heat, you can also add pepperoncini at this stage.

  • Cover the crock pot and cook the roast on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until it’s fork-tender. Cooking on low for 7 to 8 hours allows the meat to become tender.

  • Once done, remove the roast from the crock pot and let it rest for a few minutes before shredding it with two forks.

  • Strain the cooking liquid to remove excess fat if desired, and serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.

  • Toast the bread rolls, then pile the shredded beef on top, adding cheese and any additional toppings you prefer.

  • Extra Tips:
When cooking this dish, feel free to experiment with different cuts of beef or additional seasonings to suit your taste.

If you’re using a frozen roast, you may need to adjust the cooking time to ascertain it’s fully cooked and tender.

Remember to save any leftovers, as they make for great sandwiches or can be used in other dishes throughout the week!

Enjoy your delicious roast beef sandwiches with a side of mashed potatoes or potato chips for a well-rounded meal.
